Seat Heater Light Out

The seat heater light on the passenger side seat heater switch is out. Not the small orange dots that indicate either High or Low but the greenish light that lights up the button itself.

Anyone else have this problem?

All I can say about this car is
Just add this to the long list of problems experienced.

Lucky for me only 3000km's til my warranty is up and then the real fun begins.

That sucks. Someone else had this a little while ago. The seat heater still works but it's just the light that's out, right?

Ya the heater still works but I'm sure its only a matter of time before that breaks too.

Damn, I'm a NooB I couldn't find a thread on the subject.

Whats funny is about 5,000km's of the 57,000 I have on the car were to the dealer.

Trading in the TSX for an 05 CR-V is looking like a really good idea right now. I wonder what I'd get in a trade.

Not that I want to see you part with your TSX, but that might not be a bad idea considering your situation. Trade in the TSX for a CRV and buy a Mazda 3 or something for your second car.

Wow, this conversation does not spew confidence in the TSX

Yeah, I remember reading of this somewhere in this forum.

I just hope it's an isolated issue because it would be annoying to have another addition to the common TSX problems.

Happenned to me once, and then it just came back on randomly before I even had the chance to get it looked at.

The bulb costs 1$. Get it done on your next oil change. I'd be surprised they'd charge you for it even if you were out of warranty.

domn, you have the same problem as me: Our cars were both built very early, probably in the first week of production or so. You have to admit that was taking a big risk on our part, and so we are bound to have all of these annoying little defects.

At least you didn't have your A/C go on you...

Hey,
this happened to me too ... they had to order the bulb, but fixed it no problem.

I was disappointed too, but hey, at least it wasnt something major. I had them fix it witrh my last oil change, along with doing that trunk wire housing thingy.

Yes its a small problem buy for me just another to add to the long list of problems this car has given me. And why would the bulb fail so early? Is it the bulb or something else?

Dan, a trade in is not an option. Just did a black book appraisal and the car is apparently worth $22K low to $24.5K high. Not even close.

I wonder? Thats what the appraisal said. I'd be interested to see what a dealer says.

Private sale is probably a much better idea that trading in. I just looked through the autotrader and there's a MR with 40000km for $28,995. That's still a pretty big hit considering it's only a year old but the first year is always the worst.
