Scraped underbody - front bumper

i scraped the front bumper the other day and noticed that some paint had been chipped off. could this cause rusting? please advise.

Steep driveway? Been there, done that. I used some modeler's sandpaper (really fine stuff), then touched up the paint as needed with touch-up paint from an Acura/Honda dealer.
