The Satellite radio in our '06 TSX normally indicates "loading" for a few seconds before the radio actually plays a station. Today, the radio indicated "loading" for about 15 min. before it played. During the first half of the 15 min., the car was in motion then sat for 5 minutes or less (running) outside the local P.O. then drove for a few more minutes before the radio actually played. I live in a rural (but not remote) area of Connecticut where occasionally I'll get skips in the reception. I called XM tech service and they indicated that 5 sec. or so of loading is normal and that I might have a radio or antenna problem.

Anyone else have any experience with this?

 

I've noticed it usually takes a few seconds to load a new channel in my 05 TSX. It takes much less time in my wifes car and she has one of the "roady" units.

 

i have 05 and its only take about 3 seconds to load a new channel..

 

On my 06 it takes under 1 second to load a channel! Is it really so long on the older ones?

Bob P sounds like you might have a legitimate equipment problem. Check with your dealer's warranty services.
