Rear suspension makes "Clunk" noise

I've installed the eibach prokit on stock suspension for about 2 months now. From the beginning, I've heard this slight "clunk cluck" when going over a bump coming from the rear right suspension. Didn't think it's a big deal until yesterday when I made a left turn over an uneven surface, i heard this really "loose clunk cluck" noise coming from rear middle or rear right. Oddly, this only happens when I make left turns, so I figured it's most likely to be rear right suspension since weight is shifted to the right when you make left turns. I've checked my trunk for anything loose even in the spare tire compartment, nothing. Anybody have any clue to what may be wrong, strut bar/springs or the multi-link section? Please help, thanks!

I have a similar noise on my car aswell...but i think mine might be from the compartment above the spare tire.....that area moves very easily when hitting a bump. U could try holding that down better with some weight ....and see if it still occurs.....but since urs in only when u make left turns...it might not be the same issue

Make sure your rear sway bar end links aren't broken.
I use to experience this noise only when making right turns. The cause, broken right end link.
I got it replaced under warranty and now, there is no more noise.

I'm glad to have helped you with your problem KC.

the loud clunking is from the broken endlink, but the noises you heard before is from the spring full extending and moving in the perch. a rear sway bar will prevent it from extending so much and keep the noises down.

now i really think oem swaybar is nothing but a piece of junk. i hardly push my car to the limits, maybe once since i first got my car and the endlink snapped. i've just got the comptech rear sway ordered this afternoon, hopefully the comptech wont break on me like the oem one.

well your end link broke, the comptech rear sway doesn't replace that. so you'll be stuck w/ another oem one again. make sure you get acura to warranty that before you put the comptech on

I tried talking the dealer into paying me cash instead of giving me another oem swaybar so i can put it toward buying a new comptech sway. But they wouldn't do it, so tomorrow morning, they'll be putting in a replacement oem one. The comptech one will have to be done on my own next week.

It's not your swaybar that broke, it's your endlink. You'll be getting another OEM endlink, not another swaybar.

Apparently they break fairly easy since you're not the first to do it.
