Rattles and engine couldn't start

Okay, it seems like that I have the front door panel speaker rattle too! Sucks! It doesn't even have to be loud...I can still hear the rattles. Seems like the whole door is shaking.

Also, the other day, I started my car and it wouldn't start! I was parked in the driveway on an incline. It sounded like a dead battery(battery was fine). Also, it seems like sometimes the car has trouble starting up. Don't know why. If anybody knows hondas, they have an engine start-up sound from the engine that's the same on all their cars. I can't describe it, but every honda sounds the same to me when starting up. You can hear it the clearest outside the car. (I know this because all my past cars were hondas and friends and relatives have hondas) Well, my TSX does not have that sound. Instead, it seems to struggle to fire up. What do you guys think the problem is?

I believe all Hondas sounds the same because of the starter they use. About a year ago the starter in my 1996 Accord went. While it was going I had to repeatedly turn the key, over and over, to get the starter to kick in and turn over the engine.

What exactly isn't your car doing? Is it not turning at all, or turning slowly? Slow turns are an indicatation of a bad battery if I'm not mistaken. No turning may mean your starter is dying.

Ive noticed that the TSX dosent exactly catch right away, but i noticed that with the test car as well, so im assuming it's all hondas. Sometimes ill get a "weak" catch , where the car starts, but seems to struggle with it, that was basically the only thing i didnt like when i first bought the car. I dont think theres anything to worrya bout in regards to the start up, i have no idea watsup with the engine though.

My sister has an 03 Accord and it sounds similar to my TSX when it starts up. Knowing that her Accord is a 4-cylinder and my TSX is a 4-cylinder, i seem to think that may be the reason for the weaker sound when starting up... 6-cylinder Hondas sound stronger when you start them.. Thats just my

Does the engine just sit there and try to turn over? Do you accessories work at all? Any type of grinding noise clicking noise?

It just struggles to start as RMATIC09 said. But I think it's normal. I was just expecting the same startup as all my other hondas and other hondas i've encountered. A nice smooth startup. The problem I was saying is like when the engine is too cold and can't really start up quickly. It's just that this happens all time. But I guess it's fine. It's just that the other day, the car couldn't start at all. I had to take the key and restart it before it came on. Anyhoo, it seems fine now. I just don't understand why it happened that day. I was expecting the TSX to sound like the other hondas also. Even my sis 96 civic had that starter sound as does my friends 97 accord and my cousins 01 civic. You guys get the idea. But, I will take it in to see if anything is wrong and to fix the dang rattle!
