Check the handle right above the window. Mine was loose. I mentioned it to my service rep at my last oil change and they fixed it.

look at this: http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13973

also if it is coming from the rubber seals you should be able to lubricate them to get rid of the noise.

If it's low in the door it might be a broken plastic weld on the 2004 door panel. If it's a 2005 they changed the way the door panel is put together.

I don't know if Acura would want potential buyers to see this site.

Anyway, consider yourself lucky that it's ONLY the driver side door. Hope that it does not spread elsewhere.

There is actually some acura bulletin about this problem.. i forget.. however I fixed mine by opening the door panel and wrapping this one plastic panel with packing tape. After that.. the rattles were gone.. i'll see if i have a pic of it. Or if someone could post a pic of the door i'll point it out.

Has anyone used either Wurth Rubber Care or Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick on their window and door seals? Does it help eliminate some of the squeaking noises?

My subwoofer definitely heightens this annoying sound. I am afraid to bring it to the dealer because the stupid techs there will say that its because of the sub. When my windows were studdering on the way down, they said it was my tints (too bad I had the tints for over 4 months before it started doing that) (or there could have been dirt in the windows). It couldnt have been an actual problem with the car. AND I told them I was getting new springs, intake, wheels, headers. etc.. and they told me "it would void my warranty"

TOO BAD I know that law that says it doesnt void the warranty unless there is proof that the aftermarket item is the cause for the problem.

Stiffy,

There is a service bulletin that might address your problem.

i am sure they will do it unless your sub is in your driver's door

you might want to unplug the sub and see if it still happens, either way explain it to them and they will take a look at it.

At the top of the bulletin it says that it applies to 2004 in a certain VIN range. However, if you take it to the dealer and show them the bulletin and ask them real nice they may be more willing to do something. It is under warranty and this will give them specific things to look for. Otherwise, you can always try to pull the door panel off yourself and try applying the fix. Good Luck.

Well, on the way back from the airport I noticed a buzzing coming from the area where the door lock plunger is on the front driver side door. It only buzzed when I went over rougher pavement or when I floored it and the deep Icebox sound seemed to bring it on. I didn't think to turn up the radio to see if louder bass brought it on or not. I guess I'll take a closer look when I pull the panels for the speaker swap.

hey guys, i'm getting ready to apply some shin-etsu silicone grease (bought from Honda dealership) on all sides of the window seals (the ones where the window comes in contacts with). Is this safe to do?

2005 tsx 5600km
Just started 2 days ago. rattling noise from the driver side door are and passenger side door area. This noise only occurs at cruising speeds of 120km/hr and up. i can't imagine a car built in japan to have cheap rattles like this. very disappointing.

current problems to be fix still:
squeaking/twilling clutch master
annoying squeaking from both front doors

Do you happen to have an OEM bodykit?

Since it's dependent on speed, it could be that. I'd had my right sideskirt rattle, then I fixed it. Then just last week, I got rattle on the right side skirt. Just go underneath the car and wiggle it close to the front of the car. See if you hear a rattle sound.
