Radiator fan not spinning?
So I have a radiator fan not spinning and need some ideas. I checked all fuses and they're good, the condenser fan spins fine. I also decided to check for resistance which maybe a bit weird for a fan but I got roughly 10 ohms on the bad fan and little to no ohms on the working fan while the car is off. I haven't directly connected it to the battery yet to see if it at least spins but besides doing that is there any ideas you all might have?

Burning Brakes
With the engine running and A/C on LO (this should make both fans run), give the fan motor a few wacks with a small hammer or long wrench. This will sometimes get a failing DC motor to run but it needs to be replaced soon.

2nd this great advice! Just had this exact same problem, and hitting the fat motor made the fan go (brushes inside are shot). Unfortunately, this particular fan motor on the driver's side, for some reason, costs like $250 for oem. The passenger side fan motor is just $75. There are 3rd party fan motors you can buy, but they're still close to $200. Replacing the fan and motor as one piece with an aftermarket version is much cheaper to do. However, I have read in reviews that aftermarket fans are somewhat louder. I went with replacing just the fan motor with an aftermarket motor. I get a little more vibration noise with this fix, but the fan uses the same oem acura blades. Your choice!
