My 05 tsx has about 29k miles so i called the dealer and inquiring about the 30k maintenance package. They informed me that it would be about 160$ since i had already changed my oil, oil filter, intake filter, and pollen filter recently.

Iv been meaning to take the car in because the navigation will say i am at incorrect locations about once a week. They said they would re-synchronize the nav for me to correct this.

...my question is, does 160$ sound high? I asked exactly what it included and they did not give me a straight answer. The service lady said i could discuss it when i bring the car in more detail. Im taking it tomorrow morning...

i would find out exactly what they are going to do for that price. that does seems high especially since you already did most of the service. I do not ask for mileage service-just an oil change and tire rotation-when they do the oil change they check over the car and let me know if it needs anything-costs alot less.

I believe the 3 year / 30K service also includes the brake fluid service. You can see exactly what is included by checking the FAQ section, under maintenance or under the Owners Manual for your model year.

Is this Acura of Cockeysville? That's where I got my TSX and I was NOT impressed with their service dept. I kept asking simple questions (how much does A1, B1, etc. cost? What exactly is done? etc.) and i NEVER got a straight answer and always got different prices. That turned me off immediately (...about the service dept, not the car )

I had my 30k service done in May. It was $91 in parts (Air Filter, Oil Change, Brake Fluid, Pollen Filter) and $164 in Labor for a total of $255. Other people at work thought this was a very reasonable price.

I just had my 30K service done yesterday at Cerritos Acura. For the grand total of $263.23 (tax included) I got the following:
- change oil (I supplied my own 5qt. jug of Mobil 1)
- change oil filter
- rotate tires
- inspect brakes
- perform brake system fluid flush
- inspect & tighten suspension (no mention of my A-spec or CT swaybar)
- inspect exhaust system (no mention of my Topspeed header)
- inspect drive belts
- inspect hoses
- top off all fluids
I also requested that they not replace the air filter and the cabin filter as I had just performed that maintenance the weekend before on my own. The regular price of their 30Kmi. service is $325+tax.
