Problem With Locking My 2005 TSX, Help!
I have a 2005 TSX and have run into a problem with the automatic locking system. When I lock the car with the remote, all of the doors are locking except for the driver's door. When I press lock again, it still doesn't lock and the car does not beep. When I unlock it, all of the doors unlock, except for the driver's door which stays the way it is. I thought it was the battery in my remote, so I tried the other remote and the same thing happened. Then, I tried locking the car with the button on the driver's door. When I use that button, all of the doors unlock and lock, except for the driver's door. What the heck is the problem?

Okay guys I appreciate all of your help. So the dealer should know about this problem? Do you think they'll have the part in stock? Hopefully they know about the problem and how to deal with it.

I just had the same problem turn up today. Right front door lock doesn't work with the power locks anymore. On top of that, the trunk release button above the license plate doesn't work either. (As discussed at https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36597, it can be fooled if the power lock actuator is dead).
Sounds like I have a trip to the stealership ahead of me. But of course, Murphy's Law says that these kinds of problems happen at the worst times. I just rolled over 50,000 miles last week. I have 50,700 on the odometer right now...just outside the factory warranty period.
The good news, of course, is that the Honda/Acura odometer class action settlement will extend our warranties by 5%, which will end up covering this repair. The bad news is that the settlement needs to be approved first. It was originally scheduled for this month, but now it's been postponed until August 21. So I probably won't see the reimbursement money until this fall...but it sure beats needing to pay for the repair.
Yay for class action lawsuits!
