Hey AZ,
I got my CAI put on two years ago now. I noticed there's a hose that keeps popping off, brought it back to the guy who put it in but didn't have a hose that would work. I went to the injen site but it wasn't working at the moment. I figured the only fix would be buy a longer hose through injen if its possible. Here's a picture of where it keeps disconnecting. Is it bad to drive with this being disconnected? I keep popping it back on but eventually pops back off. Has this happened to anyone?

 

Can someone tell me what that hose is for so I can contact Injen? Is it the vacuum line? Some input would be helpful. Thank you

 

It looks like the breather tube, #10. I don't know if that is the vent for the crank case?

 

That's your breather hose, it provides air to your valves and oil through your valve cover.

 

Thank you. I hope I didn't do any harm to my engine by driving around with this disconnected. Is this something I have to contact Injen for or something I can take a drive to autozone and 3 bucks for a longer hose?

 

I had this problem a lot of times. I fixed it by switching those two clips (left to right and right to left) on the area that pops off. Never popped off since.
