PRND gear A/T light not working.....
well the gearshift light went out and im out of warranty so i def dont wanna pay $$ to get that light fix..so anyone knows step by step on how to remove that part of the center..i would love to try n fix it my self.. i just dont know where to start.. wat comes off first and how.. so please if anyone can help
...this guy did it to change the heated seat light and gear...but he doesnt really explain how he remove the gear part off

Its easy, the gear is a firm pull. Basically it looks like your going to bust open the shifter but it quite literally has 4 clips (silver plastic area)
the light is just attached into the middle. Wedged in there.
#74 bulb if i recall.
To remove the whole shift gate its more clips.
Where the e-brake is you put a screwdriver with a towel so you don't scratch up your panel. and wedge it in and it should unclip carefully go around so you don't break any clips.
I'll make a video tomorrow if i can. Someone has a diy of it in pictures already.

thank you lcrazyaznl a video would def help alot..but i dont want it to be too much trouble but it would help alot. i think forums are the best thing out there. but the link with pictures would also help..i did try looking for it but i couldnt find it..all i found was for the light in the heated seats. once again a video would def help
