Power Windows Freeze Shut
Power Windows Freeze Shut
Whenever the temperature drops into the 20's the power windows on my TSX do not open. Even if there has been no precipitation. Driver window is the worse. Continues even if I've been driving for many minutes with the heater on. Is this common? Is this a lubrication issue? Thanks.
Mine would stick to the rubber seal around the door but I noticed that more in the summer. Made an awful sound when it finally would break free to the point I was worried the rubber seal was going to pull off the door frame. Try cleaning the edge of your window that touches your rubber seal as well as wiping that seal down with a good silicone lube and see if that helps your sticking problem.
This has been discussed before.

Fortunately, it's a problem my '04 has never had, and it's starting its seventh winter. (Yikes!)
