Post any problems you've noticed in your TSX when you first bought it...

I bought a new 2006 TSX black on black with Navi about a month ago and being the tech geek that I am was going through all the voice commands in the navi. I noticed that the navi always responded with 12:00AM when you asked it what time it was. I then tried to set the clock to the correct time and it would always reset to 12AM. The dash clock was fine. Upon further scrutiny I also noticed that some of the temperature commands weren't functioning correctly. The navi would repeat the command but wouldn't act on it. I took it to the dealer and they're going to replace the navigation system. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

^^ this was covered in a recent thread. I forget the exact solution, but it had something to do with manually having to tell the navi to reconnect and retrieve the time, among other things.

search someone else just had this same problem and posted it up..

my only problems are that sometimes on occasion the navi seems to not be able to recognize any voice commands at all, but after a restart it works fine... weird... i hope to have it happen sometime when i'm near my dealership so i can take it in to show them what's going on...

I have had my second TSX for three weeks and there isn't anything wrong with it. But, like the 04 I had the seat squeakes a lot. I need to have it checked when I take it for its first service.

My '06 had an array of problems--some serious and some minor. Bad fuel pump, bad brake booster, door panel rattles, squeaky clutch, creaking seat, screeching power windows, etc.

I really liked my car but I was kind of disappointed. However now all of those bugs have been worked out and my car is performing flawlessly.

Problem #1: About two weeks after I picked mine up, a twin showed up at work. Found out there may be a triplet in the next couple months (CGP/Parchment)

Problem #2: In Charlotte, every other TSX I've seen on the road has had a middle aged woman behind the wheel. Not a big deal, but it kinda makes me feel like I am the only "kid" with a lady car.

No problems what-so-ever. I hope it stays that way

Only problems I've had are the center console lights went out on me but mine is an '04 non-navi. Also, the brakes on the TSX suck and warped on me at 28,000 miles. I got them resurfaced and they seem okay... for now.

Other than that, the TSX has been trouble free. The engine has never had any problems and at times, I push her pretty hard.

Drivers seat shift on left turns (fixed on 1st try - dealer replaced seat rails).

Windshield click/rattle (went away completely on its own after a few months).

HID's aimed a bit high - got flashed a lot (I lowered them a little - no flashes since).

Other minor rattles/buzzes from doors/windows but so minor I don't hear them unless the stereo is off and windows are up. Tapping the window switches down for a split sec helps.

Other than that, no problems whatsoever. Runs great, shifts smooth, great mileage.

'04 5AT non-Navi, 15k miles.

A bouncy hood at +75 mph on hwy and slight wheel alignment problem (car pulled to the left on hwy). Dealership adjusted both at 5K service, no other problems in 5 months.

Personally, if I were in your posistion, I don't think I would have the entire navigation system replaced. Is it really that difficult to look at the clock on the small display panel at the top of the dash or to check the temperature on the MID? When you have the whole navigation system replaced, you run the possibility that the dealership will screw up or when the unit is replaced, it will rattle and creek... just my

I agree to an extent, but if you pay that much for something you expect it to work. If they don't seal it correctly, they'll fix it. It's not out of my pocket.
