possible problem with vsa?

I was heading home yesterday and was just putt'n down the road, about 45 mph in 6th and my VSA lights came on. It was dry out and my only mod is that the car is lowered on a set of Tein's. Brakes worked fine, tried to turn VSA off then back on with the button but the lights stayed on. The VSA lights stayed on for a couple miles then, while still rolling down the road, I shut the car off, waited a sec. then restarted the car. No light. Scanned it this morning, no code. Anybody else's car do this? seems really random but makes me think it's a pre cursor to something bigger. Anything i should look at or check on the vehicle?

Um, well, does the TSX have a separate ABS light or does it just use the VSA light instead?

Only reason why I am asking is because it is possible that one of your wheel sensors is going bad. On my prelude the ABS light came on 3 times during one week, but then went off when I restarted the car. Eventually the ABS light stayed on, and I had a bad driver's front sensor. Bought one at a junkyard for cheap.

Just my 2 cents...

Same Problem

I've been getting this same problem over the weekend. During normal surface street driving, my VSA light would come on. It would go away if I restart the car. This has been happening for the past few days. Have you found the root cause of this?

I removed all the wheels and inspected the rings, calipers anything I could possibly think that would be involved with VSA. Also scanned the VSA system along with everything else and no codes were stored anywhere. Called the dealer and they have no idea. Has not happened since but while the wheels were off the car I also cleaned the entire suspension assembly and brake assembly and inside of the wheels to eliminate any problems that may have happened due to dirt or something. Light has not come on since. Try cleaning it, if not try to get it scanned or talk to the dealer. If you find something out, please post it, i'm curious as to what this is.

Well, the VSA light has been coming on and staying on consistently for the past week of driving. I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow to get it checked out. It's probably a bad sensor, which means they'll have to replace a part. I'm already at 80K miles so this is probably out of warranty. Oh well, from the 4.5 years of owning a car this is probably the only unexpected problem that I have to pay out of pocket for.

Went to the dealer and they said there was a malfunctioning brake light switch. They also reset the on board ECM. The brake switch cost $14, but the lab/labor costs were $170 . Oh well, at least all is good now. At least it wasn't something serious.
