I have an '04 TSX with 50,000 miles. Bought used, but I have no reason to believe the suspension is anything but stock.

I've recently noticed that I'll occasionally get a popping sound from the front end of the suspension when turning at slow speeds, like pulling into and out of parking spaces. Most common scenario is when pulling into my driveway, when I hit the bump at the bottom I'll get a pop from the front right. Have also had the pop when driving slowly and turning the wheel, without going over any real bumps at all.

I've seen posts releated to bushings on aftermarket rear sway bars, but I have the factory suspension, and its the front, not the back.

Its always great when these things come up a thousand miles after the warranty expires.

I think it might be normal. i have an 06 and i get that popping sometimes when i hit little bumps. I get it in the rear also.

i think it's just the stiff suspension not compressing fast enough when hitting little bumps. that's just what i think though, i could be wrong.

try drving with all windows down and listen to the rear and see if you hear any popping when going over bumps. that's the only time i hear it, is when i have my rear windows down.

 

have your control arms checked. i had the same exact popping noise when turning for while. the dealer finally tightened my lower control arms and no more popping.
