Unhappy Please help, I am an idiot.

Well, I did something real stupid to my 05 TSX. Out of curiosity and to entertain my two year old I decided to take the cover off of the intake manifold just to see what it looks like underneath. I grabbed my socket and without really thinking loosened all five little bolts that hold it on. Wait! There are only two bolts holding the cover on, the three in the back actually hold caps on to the valve cover (I assume.) So I go to tighten the three bolts in the back back on and of course I torqued one of them too hard and broke it right off!!!!!! So, I guess my question is can I drive to the shop with that little bolt sheared off? The car runs fine sitting still and the check engine light doesn't come on but I'm scared to drive it. Also, how big of a repair will this be? I hope it's just a matter of replacing the broken bolt.

I'm not sure which one you broke. If it's one the ones that just holds the plastic cover on, you're completely fine. If it's one that holds the valve cover on, you're still fine, you just might have to clean up some oil if the gasket is leaking. It should be a pretty easy fix but expect them to charge you their minimum labor costs.

Thanks, the one that broke is the on the valve cover. There doesn't seem to be any oil leaking. If it was just the plastic cover I wouldn't care at all.
