Pinging sound from directional???

Pinging sound from directional???
Quick Question..
When I put my Left directional on, there is a "pinging" noise (very faint) as well as the click type noise. The really weird part is that if I put the Right directional on, there is no sound other than the click noise.
Can someone please confirm if their car does this too. Or maybe I should just have the stealer take a look at it when it goes in for the 10K service
