Passenger Climate Control Temp Button Broken

Noticed it this weekend when I had passengers in the car. 2005 TSX, Navi. Passenger side temp switch is broken on the warm button. The cool button works fine, they can lower the temp but cant go back up. Drove the girl crazy in the front seat. It was too cold for her, too hot for me, and warm for the people in back.

Anyways I noticed the button has a bit of play on the warm end. I can tap it before it makes contact and it moves back and forth without making any contact. The cool side makes instant contact, no play. The driver's side is the same, instant contact, no play or loose feeling in the switch.

So Im assuming its going to be a switch/climate control console replacement and not the entire navi center stack replacement? Im going to run it by the dealership so they can take a look, order parts, then call me for an appointment and loaner car when theyre ready to work on it.

Its been over a year and I cant believe nobody elses switch broke like this.

Anyways I finally got around to taking the car into the dealership for a drivers side door lock actuator failure. They handled the starter recall and replaced my battery as well.

I pointed out the ac switch problem and they pointed out my dvd player install. I asked what my dvd mod had to do with the ac switch and they said well you modded the car, so theyre going to charge to fix that.

Now Im pissed. Looks like my customer satisfaction from Acura will say my car wasnt repaired to my liking.

So does anyone know if the switch is replaceable or do I have to replace the entire stack?
