Passenger Blinker cover replacement on side view mirror

Hello all!

I managed to crack the plastic cover for the blinker on my passenger side view mirror. I have the replacement cover, but I can't figure out how to remove the old one and install the new one! I'm really hoping I can do this myself so I can avoid the costly labor charge with a mechanic! Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

By the way, this is for a 2007 TL Type-S

You're on the wrong forum (this is the TSX forum), but the fix should be the same. I don't recall ever reading about this job being done, though you would thing it does happen (the lense breaking).

On a TSX at least, I believe you only need to remove the glass piece of the mirror, then you should have access to the screws that hold the plastic cover for the turn signal on. This may or may not require removing the motor for the mirror, but from what I remember you don't need to remove the motor, only the glass.
