Question Paint Estimate

How much do you think it would cost to sand down the paint and get a new coat of paint for our TSXs? I have lots of paint chips from the rock salt and was thinking either sanding down the side panels and the hood or getting a new color. Any estimates of how much it should cost? Thanks!

Thousands if they do a good job.
If you just want the hood and bumper done, you're probably in the $500 range...

Expect to pay around $5k for a good total repaint of the car.

If you're talking about the hood and bumpers, expect it to be around $800 for a properly done job.

UH OH... Better get MAACO

I would guess at least $ 800....more likely around $ 1200...This is just for the Hood & F. Bumper... A repaint of my rear bumber after someone scratched it up in a fender bender (no bend though) cost my insurance company $ 350

I posted that in jest. Lest anyone think I endorse them, I don't.

Looking at the description of the "very best pro 3" I have some comments:
"dual action machine sanding" - our sandpaper goes forward AND backward
"integrated clear coat" - if its integrated its not a coat
