And could you be more descriptive about the sound and location?
Sounds like the same crap I went through.
Regardless of where it is from, take the car to the dealer and have one of the service managers drive it with you in the passenger seat. And try to have him/her drive [like you do] with you in the passenger seat, so that the rattles are reproducible.
These rattles are just the beginning.
just kidding.
not.

You can never get rid of all the rattles. Everyone has them, take your car into the delership and have them check the rattles out, they will try to fix the problems, but most of the rattles wont go away.
When describing a noise in question you should try to specify when the noise starts (which you have), where the noise is coming from and descibe the sound, more info you provide the better response.
But as always use the SEARCH feature on this forum, and read through the related threads before starting a new thread. More than likely, there will be a thread that discusses your question, and by posting in an already established thread will helps us focus the discussion on one thread, instead of having to read through several threads about the same thing.

The noise generates from the transmission and is best described as a ticking sound. This occurs in the AT - when the vehicle is in drive, not fully warmed up yet, and stopped. When you place your hand on the shift lever (even more so when you push up towards neutral ever so slightly) you can actually feel the ticking in the shifter. When you place the car in neutral the sounds goes away, probably due to the raise in RPM's.
This is not the same sound as the infamous dashboard/windshield. I have noticed both myself.
Here is a thread that seems to describe the issue:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=shifter+sound
After looking around it appears other people have noticed it but, nobody has had any success in finding a remedy.
Works been fucked, haven't been around much, need to go find my other shoe. Later.

How about you post a pic showing yourself pointing to the area you think that rattle is coming from.
I think is will help some of us figure out what it might be.
I'm not a rattle recognition expert, but I think a pic would definitely help out

Hmmm... my guess is she won't be around for too much longer...
Steph, there's a bunch of different rattles you may or may not have. You'll find lots of info in a search.
Probably the most common (or most complained about) is the passenger side windshield rattle.
But don't let it scare you, there's lots of people who haven't had any. You simply hear about it more on a site like this.
