p0138 o2 sensor?

p0138 o2 sensor?

anyone has gotten this error
p0138 o2 sensor
circuit high voltage
bank 1 sensor 2

I can't tell if its the cat or the intake which is having problems.

I believe that bank 1 sensor 2 refers to the Second O2 sensor on the CAT. You might need to put an anti fouler on the sensor. Are you getting any other CELs along with it?

I think that is all.

It had a differnt cel before the cat was running too lean.

So the fixed it and positioned the sensor behind it.

yeah, your Seconday O2 is reading .75V or higher

What would the cause of that be ? water?
I do get a cel whenever i do drive my car in lots of rain or slush...

If that were the case, I would just put some electrical grease on the connectors. There are a host of HDS tablet instructions that would give more clarity.

Sounds more like a malfunction within the sensor.
