Ok i know not that many people have the S/C on their car. But the ones that do, do you have a problem with your car getting excsesivly hot? when i am at a standstill for like more then 2 min my thermostat gets about 3/4 way up. I have new coolant, fresh oil change.
Are there any aftermarket radiators available?
if not wht can i do to help with my problem?

hmm.. I have the s/c and a small coolant leak and my thermostat is always in the normal range. It has been hot as hell over here too, and I seem to be running the a/c virtually everytime i'm in the car. It could be possible that you have air in the cooling system. When the car is cold, loosen the radiator cap 1 click and let it idle until the radiator fans come on twice. Then fasten the cap and see if you get the same symptoms again.

I know a 97 Accord is not the same as a 04 S/C TSX, but they are similar.
I had a similar problem on my Accord. The temp would rise on very hot days in stop/go traffic and stop lights. Everything would be fine driving above 30 mph. They changed the coolant, thermostat, and checked the water pump and I still had the same problem. Eventually, they narrowed the problem down to the A/C electric fan not pushing/pulling enough air across the radiator when the car was stopped. The fan looked like it was running normally; but it was only about 70% of normal speed. Replaced the fan, no problems in 2 ½ years.

No problems like that whatsover. You should double check everything on the install.
I've actually sat an hour or more in park, and plenty of times at long lights, and my temp guage has never risen above normal. Even in the 100+ degree weather is has been fine.
If you haven't already, give Comptech a call and ask what they think.

Failed Acura thermostats fail open. So you would have excessively low temperatures when driving if it was the thermostat. Did you DIY the coolant change? I agree that there might be an air bubble causing an airlock in the line. Try the method NJTSXMan described. If it works, then good. Otherwise, time to bring it back for a troubleshoot.
