Oil Pan Leak

Okay fellow TSX'ers. I took my ride to the dealer for the first oil change and was told that I had an oil leak coming from my oil pan. While the dealer was quick to advise me that all of the work was going to be covered by warranty they gave little to no explanation as to why the leak had occured. I have not hit anything to my knowledge but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same kind of problem. The dealer of course said this was the first time they had seen this. Not an oil leak but on a TSX oil pan.

Thoughts??

could be a possibly bad oil pan gasket, but I don't see how it could be bad since your car is so new and this is your first oil change. i changed the oil pan gasket in my 97 accord around 90k miles, but that was due to wear and tear.

if i were you i would ask your service advisor for an explanation, i think they are required to tell you and it should also be noted on your invoice you recieve.
