Oil leak

Oil leak
Hi,
I just purchased my TSX about a month ago and have put about 1300 miles on it. I recently brought it to the dealer because it was leaking oil. They replaced the oil pan and a gasket. According to them, the gasket was pinched and the oil pan was distorted. They had it for 5 days. I brought it back to the dealer after two days because I saw more oil drops. I was just wondering if anyone has this oil leak problem? Or am I the only one? Does this sound like a serious problem? I shouldn't have to deal with an oil leak from a brand new car and it is really stressing me out. Has anyone had their car replaced from the factory due to any problems? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I remember buying a civic a few years ago and as soon as I drove it off the lot (brand new car mind you), smoke started coming out of the hood. By as soon as, I mean in about 3-400 miles. I had to take the car back to a dealership and they kept the car for two days. It turned out that the car had a faulty head gasket, and then had to replace it. Oil was coming out of the engine and burning off on the outside...I was pretty darn worried at that point. Talked to the sales rep about lemon laws etc., but he warned me that if Honda could fix it good then it wouldnt' count under any kind of lemon law. This is in VA in 2000. Either way, Honda fixed the car, I put another 40,000 miles on it in the next year and a half and then traded it in. Never had any other service issues with the car. So....I guess I wouldn't worry if I were you, but keep a close eye and ear on the car for the next few days/weeks to make sure she makes it through this okay. Thought my story might help

No burning smell. My car is still at the dealer (this is the second time). They said that it was leaking from the oil pan again because it was hard to properly seal it with the gasket. They had to take out the oil pan and properly seal it again. Anyway, they kept it overnight and still found some oil drops but they cannot determine where the source of the leak is. According to the service guy, since the liquids are so new and thin, it's difficult to pinpoint the source of the leak. So they're trying to figure that out. I can't believe I'm dealing with this. It's a brand new car with only 1400 miles on it. I've had it for about 3 weeks. How can the Acura factory release a car with defective parts? Don't they also check it before it's released to the dealer?

the hardest thing to torque correctly is the oil pan because you can never get a clear shot at all the bolts without dismantling more of the car... something the dealer doesn't want to do. (takes more time).

They should try using the dye used exactly for such cases...what kind of knuckle head mechanics are these guys anyway ? Moe, Larry and Curly ?!
I had a rear main seal on my TSX begin leaking at about 1000 miles as well.
I'd always believed that a rear main would effect the engagement of the clutch but I wasn't experiencing that at all, I guess because the leak was so minimal.
I was really dissapointed but they replaced the seal in a day and it hasn't leaked since. And believe me, I've been checking.
