Oh how it hurts
I just spoke with one of the service techs at my dealer about the airbag. He said the front passenger usually deploys.
Also an update, my car is expected to be done around the middle of next week. I miss her soooooo much by now. My rental is a red Chevy Monte Carlo - not even close in terms of the fun factor. I'll post pics of the repaired car when I get her back.

Back in business finally after 3 1/2 weeks
. I picked her up last night - looks like new plus it's been detailed (exterior only). It felt so great to shift again and just feel the road the way you do in this car. Still, it has to go back tomorrow as there is a rattle going on in the dash - shouldn't be anything major.
BTW, the total cost of repair: $10,063.66 (USD). Glad it didn't come out of my pocket. I'll post pics if anyone likes but that doesn't seem necessary since we all know what the car looks like.

I'll post pics tomorrow since it's starting to get dark here. There's a link to the before pics on the second post on this page and I'll just add the new pics to that page for comparison.
I've posted updated pics of the car at the bottom of the page on this link.

The crappy weather just won't stop here so I didn't post any close-ups since it already has tons of rainspots and a bug cemetery on the bumper, but you get the idea.

glad everyone is ok,car is fixable or replacable, not you. so dont be cry babies. my tsx got hit by some huge object on the fwy from the side out of no where. slam and damaged my left front door and fender, and driver mirror fold and gone right away. fwy speed at 70 mph.
cost of repair 3500. rented 05 accord. drove for 2 wks, and drive my tsx back. i can see the difference. they way the tsx drive and handle is 1000000 percent better and more rigid, and heavier.
you get what you pay for this is y no matter what car u buy today, there will be problems. car prices did not go up that much since 1995. so car manufacters must cut corner to meet conumers need and more stuff had put in the car and price hardly gone up.. think about it.

[QUOTE=daddydliv]Alright, I went and took pics so I'll upload them in a minute. Every time I see the car again (I went back last night to get valuables out of it) I feel a little better. This car sure is built pretty strong...we were both going about 10 MPH but head on it's more like 20 MPH into a wall so I'm amazed there isn't more damage to the TSX.

[QUOTE]So do your clothes still wreak of the sulfur from the exploders for the nitrogen capsules?
You both had a green light.
She was turning left, you were going straight.
In that situation, you absolutely have the right of way. No questions about it. The car turning left has to yield to the car going stright through. Her insurance company isn't dumb enough to make an issue of a case they're going to lose on the facts. They'll be happy to pay and get off without claims of injury...

Yes. That shit stinks. Isn't too bad on my clothes today though, really stunk last night.
The cop didn't note on the report who was at fault and didn't cite her, but in talking with the claims rep. today her insurance is already paying for my rental which means they are most likely accepting liability. I'll find out for sure today or tomorrow about that.
Posting pics next...
