Odd Power Window Problem

Woke up this morning and my three of the my windows won't work, only the driver window works. when i try to open and close the others, i hear clicking but nothing. tried using the driver's master control and each of the individual controls and still nothing. Has anyone experienced this before? I have an 06 with 100k miles. Thanks!

Did you accidentally press the child safety button that prohibits the other windows from going down?

If not, then it's probably the actuators.

I thought that may have been it, so I tried with it pressed and unpressed and it didn't work either way. It seems odd to me that only the driver window works. For the actuator, will I need to replace more than one?

I believe you'll need to replace all the affected windows. I haven't had the problem myself yet, but it seems to be very common, at least on this forum, judging by that thread and others. Probably a wealth of information available in the other threads. You can do a search and it should bring them up.

Thanks. Could it be a fuse problem since the led lights don't light up on the switches?

Probably a separate issue since one window still works. The backlights on some of the switches go out - it's not uncommon.

So I brought in to have it checked out and they said it's the master window switch that shorted internally. It's going to cost $400 to replace, which is quite steep. Does anyone know if this is easy to replace myself. I've never actually taken off the door panel myself before, but it almost looks like I don't even need to do so. Looks like all I have to do is pop the master switch up. Can anyone confirm?
