O2 Sensor Replacement ?

My service engine soon light came on. I brought it in for service and it was determined the O2 sensor was bad. The dealer ordered a new one. I asked if it is a repair I can wait for or do I need to leave the car. The service manager didn't know as they've never replaced one on the TSX yet. He said when the part comes in he'll try and have the info if it's an easy repair or if the sensor is buried and tough to get at.

Does anyone with a service manual know if it's a quick job?
Thank you !

The Secondary HO2S Replacement is a sensor on the catalytic converter. It screws on/off 10 min. It shouldn't take long. However if the wire that connects it to the computer under the passanger's seat need to be replaced then it will might take about an hour. Then time to test it.

How exactly do you change out the secondary secondary sensor wire harness in full? Does anyone know the procedure?

Do you need to pull up the carpeting on the passenger side floor for access to fish it through the floor?

I recently changed out mine.

All that is required is to just unbolt the seat and there is a piece of carpet that is fastened down with lil clips remove those and the harness is exposed.

Took all of like 20-30 mins tops!

Quick and easy job, you should be able to wait for. However, you know how the dealers are.
