Non TSX problem but need help.

Here is my problem, my girlfriend just bought a Pathfinder. The A/C was luke warm, so thinking I could save a few bucks I thought I would try to recharge the system myself. Well the charger that I bought had a the pressure gauge on it and everything and it showed that the system was a little low. Well, it did not seem like it was refilling, but it apparently got one good dose of R134 and overcharged it. Is there anyway to bleed the excess off myself so that it is at the proper PSI or should I just suck it up and take to a pro? Thanks.

Listen, if you can't do it properly, get a pro. Anyways, when it comes down to A/C, you should always get a pro to work on these systems. They are so frail that if you make a mistake and ruin one part unconsciously, running it could cause a chain of failures. And that wouls cause you to have to pay a bill much, much higher than the 30 or 40 bucks that would have originally cost you to get it filled by a pro.

Ask me, I know.

sauceman, who already had to get a complete system replaced at the cost of 1800$ for having neglected it.

You're better off taking this to a pro.

Thanks guys, I took your advice and took it to a pro this morning. They had it straightened out in a few hours.
