noise in the rear when making a turn

Hi guys,

Ever since I got my car, it always makes noise when I make a right turn into a parking lot. I always thought I hit something.

Today. After two and a half year. I finally find out why. Yea!

The stabilzer bar linkage is broken into two pieces. The nosie is from the two broken pieces hitting each other. <G!>

Let's say you make a left turn very fast. The wheel on the left size will raise up becasue the weight of the car is shifted to the right. The stablizer bar is use to "hold" the left wheel down. A stabilizer bar is basically a "spring" like the one in the our trunk.

And that linkage is very cheezy. I bet you can just break it with your bare hand.

Are you talking about the end links connected to the rear sway? Yea, they do look pretty week. Kind of conserned because I just put on the Comptech sway.

maybe. You can see it through the wheel. It is just right behind the disc. It is black and it looks like a dumb bell with 4 white dots in each end.

I ride my car hard and have had a rear sway (2) for a year w/ no broken end link. you must have gotten a defective one or just did something really really harsh to break it!

Maybe I ride my car even harder. But, no matter! I have a brand new one now! Anyway. I think my CV boots are about time to be replaced. My friend's 2002 Nissan has about the same milage as my 2004 TSX (54,000 miles). His CV boots already broken into pieces. Maybe mine is already broken. I haven't taken a look at it yet.
