I don't usually drive my 2005 TSX AT with the driver side window all the way down and my radio off, but tonite when I did, I could hear the gears changing from D to N and R.

It sounds like a small knocking sound, am I being paranoided?
Does anyone else hear on their AT?

I only have about 6,500 miles on the car.

 

it happen to me everytime i change gears, and that annoys me!! and that's the only thing i don't like about this car because it doesn't sound smooth at all switching gears............from P to D to R back to P......*knock* *knock* *knock*........

btw my car had only 3,600 miles on it..........

 

yeah, it happens to me too. 30k miles already, but tranny fluid is kinda low. I think i'm due for a tranny flush.

 

i see, has anyone asked their dealer? i'm going to next time i get my oil changed.

btw, could be helpful to others if the year and AT or MT were noted in future posts.

 

Hey, I just got my 2006 AT about 3 weeks ago and have been experiencing the same issues. I have about 700 miles on it and everytime I change the gears I hear a very loud banging noise. Also, when I shifted out of park yesterday, it sounded like somebody was banging the bottom of the car with a wrench. Is this just an issue with the 2006's?
