I heard a rattle coming from the rear of the car and, with the help of a family member riding in the back, was able to identify the source of the rattle to be one of the three plastic covers behind the rear headrests. I think those are used to pull the rear seats down or something, not sure.

Anyway, one of the plastic covers was loose and causing a slight rattle on rough roads. I used a little black electrical tape on it and all the rattle went away.

 

The covers are covering the child seat tether anchors. Back in the "old days" when my kids were small, we used to have to buy a special doodad that screwed into the back shelf to anchor the child seats to. So, despite the annoying rattle, it is progress of a sort.

'Course in the real "old days" when I was growing up, all the kids just piled into the back of the ole Buick wagon and nobody'd ever heard of a "car seat" for children. :P

I think that's an all-time record so far, for how fast you found the rattle and solved it.

Maybe it'll be a clue for some of the other rattles. (I feel so left out -- no rattles!)
