not yet...

No dings yet, but I'm worried about it. Those smooth sides look great in photos, but I have to park in a real garage shared with bikes, yard tools, a lawnmower, sports equipment and kids toys. There's as much danger at home as there is from random strangers opening their doors carelessly...

Nearly 3 months with no dings (knock on wood).

I park pretty defensively, but it's not uncommon for some nut to pull in alongside me anyway. My heart skips a beat every time I realize it's happened, but no problemo yet.

Today, an old crappy Volvo ended up next to me, and I pictured myself kicking in their window if they dinged me. Yes, I've identified a potential new problem for the US -- parking lot rage. I may end up doing community service or worse, but I'll defend my TSX to the bitter end

Ya accumulatings dings, scratches, and cuts in the leather. Who cares. When it will get too bad I'll buy another one or a TL. Wait until you are 80 to see what you will look like.

When I'd had my TSX about 3 or 4 weeks, some guy bumped me from behind while I was sitting in traffic. Luckily, the damage wasn't too bad, but while it was at the body shop for a few days, someone put a light ding in the left rear door (ding only, no paint damage). I complained to the body shop, and they had a paintless dent repair place work on it. I was amazed! It looks great! You can't even tell there was ever a ding there.

You can probably have a paintless dent repair place take out the dent, but the paint is still gonna be damaged. At least it would look somewhat better...

No dings yet, but not even 12 hours after I got it I was stopped in one of the filling stations on the FL turnpike. A family parked next to me loads up and one of the stupid passengers just FLINGS the door open with no regard to my car and if she has enough space to fully open the door without hitting me. As luck would have it, there was enough, but there wont always be.

damn stupid people.
