new bee, tsx 2006 , beeps every minutes while driving

I have noticed this when i leave my car unlocked in the garage overnight. The folowing day, when i am driving ,there is a very irritating beep occuring EVERY two minutes. not too sure why leaving the car unlocked will cause this

Any ideas what is it and how do i stop it

If you have an 06, then whatever is causing the problem should display on the MID.

Is your seatbelt buckled? Sounds like the seatbelt reminder.

Do you have your seatbelt on? Even if you do, I wonder if you have a seatbelt sensor malfunction.

yes i do have my seatbelt on ... and the noise when the seatbelt is not fastened is different from this beep. also this does not happen all the time. I have "noticed" this when i leave my car unlocked overnight and then get up in the morning and start driving i hear the beep ( coming from under the radio ) every two minutes ( exactly two minutes ) . so what i gotto do is stop the car get out lock it .. wait for a few minutes and then unlock it get in and it gets fixed .... can someone try leave their car unlocked 2006 tsx and drive next day morning and see if it beeps
i ll most likey take it to acura.. but i thought someone might have seen this problem

Me too.

Do you have a Bluetooth phone somewhere in the car?
Has your car been programmed to look for a Bluetooth phone?

Do you have a Nav system?

Maybe it's your radio somehow auto programming itself or something? For example, to put a station into memory, you hold the button down until you hear a beep. Same goes for the auto program mode. I think the beep comes from the speakers, though, not from under the radio.

Pretty sure it is not coming from speaker. Thesound is more like the beep we get in 2006 when you lock the car twice using the remote

You know that beep that comes from the Nav unit when you press 'OK' at the nag screen or move the joystick, etc? Does it sound like that?

Is there anything sitting in the passenger seat around 20-40 lbs? If not, maybe there is a bad sensor for the de-activating the passenger airbag when someone/something is under weight in the passenger seat.

Any other warning lights with the beep? Hate to find out the beeping noise is the deactivation warning for the passenger airbag and you happen to need it one day.

I haven't tried using the remote while driving or when the car is on, I imagine the remote is deactivated once the car is turned on.

It would be nice to know if you can unlock the car with the other remote if the car is left running just incase you lock your keys in the car. (I might give it a try tonight).

Maybe it's the backpack then. Still sounds like a strange problem.

How heavy is the backpack? My baby bro is heavy enough for the TSX to recognize him, but light enough to turn the airbag off. Anyway, if the TSX thinks your backpack is a little kid with an unbuckled seatbelt, that might be where the beeps come from. I think it beeps when you exceed a certain speed as well.

Why do you guys leave your car unlocked? I could have sworn that the TSX automatically locks itself after a while if you don't open the trunk, but I guess not? (I guess I better always make sure the car is locked then)

The TSX only re-locks if you use the remote to unlock the doors. You can use the MID to program in the amount of time before the car re-lock itself with the remote.

If you use the unlock button on the arm rest, the car will stay unlocked. I leave the car unlocked when I park in my garage.
