NAVIGATION PROBLEM!!! Please Help!!!

I have a 2004 TSX w/ navi system. I have had some problems with the voice over on the GPS. Then on the way back from austin the GPS system just gave out. It kept restarting over and over. Then it would work for 5 minutes. then it would restart. now all it does is ask me to put in a code. What should i do? should i buy a new disk? is the disc scratched? Any help would be very much appreciated.

First thing you need to check is whether the problem is with the Disk or with the Drive,,

1) Pop out the disk and clean it and insert
2) Popout the disk burn an image and insert the Disk and see what happens..

If you still get the same message run the diagnostics..

Hold Map/Guide+Menu+Cancel for a few seconds you will see the diagnostics screen..

Refer to the thread..

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/dvd-disc-reading-error-3g-garage-i-001-a-690561/

Don't change any thing in the srcreen..

I had the issue that was mentioned in the above thread and i have sent my Drive to Alpine and they repaired it now everything is working fine..

When i took to it to the Dealer before sending it to Alpine, they wanted $200/- to just check what's the problem..

Alpine repaired everything for 150/-
