I have a question on my 06 Navi. The map display shows small dots places where I have been previously. It is really annoying as the map in some parts of town is now covered in dots. How do I adjust the system so it doesn't display these?

My previous 06 TSX (sadly totaled) didn't do these so I imagine it is somewhere deep in the settings. I have gone through and tweaked all of the settings I could find but it still leaves these dots. Anybody have any ideas?

 

You're not checking one of the settings correctly. The dots are called breadcrumbs and there is a method in one of those screens for turning them on and off, but the option does not go by the breadcrumb name. It's something like show my path when going off the route or similar. I don't have the Navigation Guide handy at the moment but it's in there.
