Angry Nav Freeze-Up Solution?

Does anybody know if there is a solution for this problem yet? How many of us are actually experiencing this?

My nav has been freezing up quite frequently as of late. Today it froze up, but before the OK button even showed up the screen just went blank. This is very annoying!!!!!

Maybe the new DVD software will fix this??

Did you press anything on the console or dash (or whatever you want to call it) before the "OK" thing came on?

The "freeze" has only happened to me twice, and both times were when I got greedy and jumped the gun on pressing "Menu" or something too early.

What software version (1.000 seemed to have more reported lockups than even slightly later versions like my 1.0030 which has never locked up) and are you using the SNHOND3 adapter? I remember reading a thread on clubtsx where the snhond3 was causing the lockups.

Yes i am using the SHOND3 adapter. And this brings up my next question: Have any members NOT using the SHOND3 had freeze ups?

I only ask because i owned the car for 7 months with NO freeze ups. Then i added the SHOND3 and the next day was my first freeze up. Coincidince?

I believe other non-sndhond3 users have had lockups, but only with the 1.0000 version.

Here's the thread on clubtsx:

Bass Mech suggests returning the snd adapter for a warranty replacement.
