Nope. And you may need to get a new tire, too. Last I checked, they sold for $180 each.

At least it sounds like the rim is good. That goes for over $300 at the dealer.

My advice, get a different set of tires (if needed).

I never had a flat!

Just watch, I'll get a flat tomorrow. Probably from the darn screw I had a few weeks ago. It will go poof, and no one here will hear from slo007 again... The car will spin and... okay, that's enough. I'm going to bed now -- sleeping with the angels.

No reputable tire place will ever fix a tire with a puncture in the sidewall.

You should be able to get a good deal on the factory Pilots from one of the board members who is getting rid of their perfectly good stock tires for better ones. Get a pair of them - this way you have a real spare.

Yeah I'd say definately do not buy another stock tire, that's a waste. You can get 4 decent summer tires for $300 probably, great ones for $450-500

Not the dealer. Look for a large tire store nearby.

Also check ratings online at:

Good luck!

I got my first flat a couple months ago. Strange, but mine was on the inside wall and also looked like a big slice in the tire. Cost me $200 for the tire. Ridiculous!

I know that the car lifts that some dealerships still use will do this to a tire when driving on/off the lift if they are not carefull.
Did you have your car serviced around the time of the flat??

You paid alot for the one tire...yokohama es100 are much better and much cheaper...
