"My dog ate my manual"

"I lost my manual..."

"The used car place didn't include the owner's manual..."

"My car was broken into and all they took was the packet of owner's information..."[1]

Problem solved => https://acurazine.com/forums/tsx-frequently-asked-questions-125/faq-owners-manuals-674497/

[1] Did they leave a camera and a toothbrush?

I hate it when people break into my car and leave their camera and toothbrush. If I had a dollar for every time that happened.....

Sounds like someone is very tired of reading questions that could be answered by looking in the manual....

+1,000,000,000,000,000,000

They should make you sit down and do that before they let you drive off the lot. I read it online a week before I bought my TSX.

That was my quote and that actually happened, champ. Makes no sense considering both my GPS and my Sirius radio were sitting on the dash ready, willing, and able to be snagged, but they took the entire contents of the glovebox - manual, insurance card, even the f'ing touch-up paint.

Smash-n-grab thieves were never known for being intelligent.

More like tired of reading questions where the answer is, "Have you checked the Forum FAQs?" Cause you guys 'n gals (mods) work very hard on keeping that FAQ section a treasure trove of information.

No kidding (hence the "camera & toothbrush" reference). I wasn't trying to make fun of you in particular btw. Just remind some readers that the manuals are available, and this forum makes it easy to find them. So ... now you have your manuals (pdfs), right?

Man, haven't heard that term in a long time. Are you SDA? (If you aren't then say no).

A vesper is a drink. I think it's something like a Manhattan.

Out of curiosity, what definition of vesper were you referring to?

Yea, I'm puzzled too. I'm thinking in a religious context of the word. Didn't know it was also a drink.

Go read Ian Fleming's CASINO ROYALE. Or, if you're pressed for time, watch the movie with Daniel Craig.

Off topic but what's with the totoro avatar? Just seems like an odd choice for grown man. Not that I'm knocking it as I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli. It's just... unexpected.

  • My daughter's a big fan.
  • I think it's a pretty good film (I'm rewatching some other Ghibil films, Japanese soundtracks naturally).
  • My daughter's a big fan.
  • My car's Japanese.
  • I thought it's a funny looking toy.
  • I look like this (flat on my back, exhausted) after working 36 hours this weekend fixing and detailing my gf's Jetta, and cleaning Trojans and spybots off her laptop.
Take your pick as to why I have it for my avatar this week.....

I've certainly seen freakier avatars here. The girl with the helicopter hairdo ... the boy with bugged eyes and mouth.... Okay, most of the screwy ones are in Ramblings.

Oh, as in evening vespers. Gotcha. Not a common usage outside the nunnery, I suppose.

Vesper (martini)

I just watched Howl's Moving Castle this weekend which had a pretty awesome steam punk motif to it. Origin: Spirits of the Past was also very good but not a Studio Ghibli flick. I must have been feeling post apocalyptic when I was feeding my netflix queue.

But hey, what's that way over there? Oh, it's the original topic. Oops.
