aight i got a 04 tsx and the stainless steal is already rusting...where?
well you kno the when you open the door and on the bottum edge of the entrance theres a metal decal "ACURA". should i take this to the dealer to get replaced?
or is there some kind of removal to rust?

The plate can't rust because it's stainless steel. If you have rust on it, it must have come from somewhere else. It will just wipe off but you should look at your door to see if there's any rust on it.

 

Also, there is also the possibility that it's not rust at all. Might be some sort of dirt or something that has adhered itself to the plate.

 

Oh, and if its just a bunch of little tiny spots, they are just some steel dust. Don't worry about them...

Door sill works for me...

 

I thought mine was getting messed up b/c it was developing spots. Just take a good cleaner and wipe the stuff of it, it should make it look like new.

 

I actually have the same problem..it's RIGHT on the Acura logo, and there are some rust spots. I think some bits of steel got onto it and started to rust. I removed those bits of metal with a bit of rubbing, but it still leave some small rust spots

The thing I don't get is how the rust spots got there in the first place.. It's only in the driver front door though. I can take a picture of it later and post.

 

I saw on the black market that they have lighted TL door sills, they probably wont fit the TSX right??

 

They won't, but they are making them for the TSX so just hold on.
