So I have posted about this before and nothing helped. I searched these forums and there is nothing. I searched google and there is nothing i could find.

My lights and buttons on the memory seat panel by the door handle went out. they don't work, don't light up. nothing. I have an 06 TSX which probably by now the warranty is gone. But I have taken off the door panel and everything is hooked up fine. I have synced the key fob and nothing. I have checked and rechecked all the fuses and they are fine.

Has anyone had this problem?? 1 dealer told me that something under the dash that controls them went out but was not sure and would be about 8 hours to fix. Didn't have time before due to sharing a car with my wife. Anyway has anyone had this problem???

 

car should still have a warranty I would think.
and the dealer should give you a loaner while they fix it.

as for the problem... no idea, sorry.
if you buy an electronic troubleshooting manual, you will have a
far greater chance of figuring it out.

 

How many miles do you have on your car. The warranty on my 06 tsx lasted 18 months *50,000 miles)

 

The weirdest thing happened. I called and made a appointment with the dealer. Then while driving I noticed I have 50100 miles on the car so called the dealership and they said it would not be covered so I cancelled my appointment and hung up. I complained to my wife for a bit about the warranty and then hit the memory button because I was talking about it. And the lights lit up and wanted me to set the drivers memory. I can't believe it works again. I'm happy now until next time it stops working. Thanks for the replies.

 

^ Whoa crazy. So wait, while driving you were able to mess with them? While driving I cannot change the memory from 1 to 2 or anything, I need to be in park. Did yours allow it to change without being in park?
