Low RPN Acceleration Noise

I've seen reports of noises at higher (~6000) RPMs, but I am getting a very annoying rattle at about 3000 rpms. It only happens when I depress the accelerator all the way. Say I'm going 80 in 6th gear and I floor it, the car makes a loud metallic rattle that sounds like its coming from the front left. It remains until the car speeds up about 5 or 10 mph. Anyone else had this happen? Suggested fixes? Thanks.

Could be alot of things but the first I would check is that the air box is securely attached the car. If you 'bog' the engine it could definitely vibrate the airbox making a rattling noise. The is especially the case if you have removed the resonator on your car as it helps anchor the air box in place. So check that the airbox lid is securely fasted to the lower part and then see if you can move the box by using your hands. It shouldn't budge. If you can move it you should open up the box and make sure it's tightened down to the engine bay.
