If you didn't authorize them to perform those services you shouldn't have to pay or they should give you your next oil and filter change free of charge.
Adding 8 liters of oil since September is a little excessive. Did they say what caused it?

If it were my service department (which it isn't in this case), I would make sure that the customer authorizes work before it is performed (required by law in order to require payment in this state), check the PCV valve. If that was fine (which I'd guess it would be in your case), I'd have to start checking the lines. You've got to have a leak somewhere or a blown head gasket. Then again...that would leak oil everywhere if that were the case.
8L of oil!!?? Holy crap! Mine (and many others) required an addition of about 1L before the first oil change, but that amount is crazy. That's more than the entire crankcase capacity. It has to be going somewhere. Either a leak, or it's being burned. Have you looked for a leak under the car? Check around the front & rear seals and the oil filter. Do you ever see blue smoke from your exhaust? Check your spark plugs, are they oil-fouled?
My mom bought a new Probe in 1993 that had a similar problem. It ate oil all the time. I worked at the garage where she bought it. I would take it to work for them to look at. By 5000 miles, the exhaust pipe was black with sot. They eventually pulled the engine and replaced the block. The original block had jagged holes in two of the cylinders walls that I could stick my little finger through! I don't remember the car smoking, but it was 12 years ago.

Make sure you're writing down and keeping track of all of this info - receipts, etc too. Its definitely a problem if you've used 8L of oil.

My RSX had this problem, along with most of the early RSX's. Sounds like the dealer is doing the right thing with the oil consumption test. Standard procedure is to do an oil change and then keep track of the oil consumption. Let the dealer add any oil that might be needed so they can keep track of it. I forget what Honda/Acura says is unacceptable consumption, something like a quart every 1000 miles. They will replace your engine if they find the problem bad enough
MY TSX is another story however. It has not burned a drop of oil in the first 4000 miles.

I had a problem like this in an old Toyota Corolla - most of the oil was running out while the car was running, but it would leave a drop or two on the ground after stopping the car. I ended up replacing the wrong part (oil pan gasket -- major beeyotch) before the correct part was determined. It was an oil pressure switch, about $8 and 5 minutes of labor.

One thought - find a clean spot of pavement and let your car idle over it for 10-15 minutes, then see if there is any oil under the car.
I don't know what the Canadian warranty is, but in the U.S. it's very good. Your dealer is now aware of the problem and has done the right thing to "benchmark" the problem. From this point, just have things checked regularly and documented.
If they can't find the problem, I would think they would have to do something major (e.g. new engine, or maybe buy the car back from you), but the key to this is being careful to build the case. Keep a log of dates and amounts of oil added, all receipts, etc.

I'm going to have to check the dates more closely.
