locking beep gone

Three Wheelin'
The beep is there to confirm that all doors, hood, and trunk are shut tight. Try opening and closing your hood again. Check all doors and trunk for proper operation of the triggers.

I had a similar problem after my first accident. It's either your beeper which is located on the driver's side front, or it can be simply a fuse that's blown out. Mine was a simple fuse was it was fixed withing 10 minutes.

make sure that all door locks are working
I had the same problem for some time and thought that it was a fuse or something. Turns out that the front passenger door lock stopped working automatically, so when it was open, no beep. ($300 to fix door actuator)

I have an 04 and it doesn't beep when I lock it. All doors lock, and so does trunk and the lights flash. I don't particularly care about the chirp, but makes me wonder. Hm, does the 04 have a chirp when you lock it? If so, and its a fuse, I'm assuming its a fuse on the interior box?
