Hey guys,

I just bought a 2004 tsx and it came without the remote. The dealer wants 250 with programming (ridiculous)... I am thinking about buying one on ebay but im not sure what the fcc ID is.. Also, I believe the 04 did not have memery seating, so if I found one with memory seating would it work?

if you get a fob you can program it yourself for free! and no you cannot add memory seating to an 04. check out moda_way's thread on the honda key conversion if you want to get a new fob and have a cooler key

 

ok, but im not sure if I should be buying the no mem or the mem seating remote. Its a 2004.. Did they make memory seating in that year? Also if I did find a remote on ebay with memory seating would the remote still function even if i dont have memory seating.

 

Like xizor stated, 2004 does not have memory seating...I have an 04 as well so don't waste your time...just buy the regular remote, or get the USDM Accord one and do the Keyfob mod like moda_way describes.

 

Yep... It's well worth the money. Plus you get that JDM factor as well, with out even trying.
