Difficult starting
Difficult starting
My car is having difficulty when starting. Recently I had a TL as a loaner while my car was in the shop. I noticed this car started very fast and it occured first time everytime. I get my car back and realize how slow it starts. My typical technique that works everytime is first turn the key for about 3 seconds, then turn the key for a second time then it starts usually. If it doesn't I turn the key a third time for about 5 seconds and it will start but will sputter a bit. I see the tach hit about 500 when starting if that helps, also when the car starts you can feel a jolt in the car. The car with A/C on vibrates a bit, without A/C it's nice and smooth. Acceleration is good, and this issue doesn't change with whether the car is warm or cold. Before I start tearing into the car and throwing parts at it I was hoping to get some advice on this issue. Possible Spark Plug issue? Fuel Filter? Starter? Idiot behind the key?
Mods: I have attempted a search for my issue, if I suck at searching I apologize.
