So I'll give a brief summary of what happend. I bought one fog kit from ebay...it was the three harness that didn't fit. Then I bought another that I was sure was "JDM" and they vendor assured me would work...when I went to install the wires were close but didn't fit. So I took it to a shop. Before I got the bill (I had been quoted $84) the ebay seller told me he would reimburse me but didn't specify amount. The shop couldn't wire the switch with those harnesses, so they spliced wires and put in a new switch...and charged me $220!!! Ideally the vendor will reimburse me $220, but I doubt that will happen since I got the fogs for $150. What can I do?

I was at school so I sent my dad to pick it up for me. he paid it, but with my card. They store owner seemed pretty decent. Is there an argument I could make to get a partial refund from the installer?
On a separate note I'm trying to use paypal to get the ebay seller to cover at least $100 of it since I kinda incurred the install fees as a result of his false advertising that the kit was made for "plug and play" on the "2004 Acura TSX"
