Humming noise at 45mph

I get a hum / whine noise when driving which starts at approx 45mph and over. If I let off the gas pedal it goes, soon as I tap the gas it comes back. Any ideas on what this might be?

Front or rear noise? If it's rear, you should be able to determine a side if it's a bearing. May sound more like a kinda "wonka-wonka" sound.

I'm not sure if it's comming from the back or front.

Ok ran some more diagnostics. The hum noise / whine is coming from the front. If I let go of the gas pedal the noise stops, also if i go to neutral the noise goes. I don't think it's a wheel bearing.
