I got new wiper inserts after waiting a couple weeks from the dealer...$14 a set, so don't get me started on the price...
They're just the rubbler blades, how do you get the wiper out of the holding arm without trashing the whole thing?

you should just be able to pull them out, move the metal posts to the new wipers blades, and slide them back in.
BTW: If you paid $14 you got screwed... http://www.acuraparts247.com/sunnysi...All&vinsrch=no
Each one is under $4, LIST price.

1. Press tab on wiper where it hooks into the wiper arm. Pull out wiper assembly.
2. Squeeze the blade rubber where it is hooked into the wiper claw. Pull out rubber blade insert.
3. The metal reinforcements will fall out.
4. Place the metal reinforcements in the new blade insert.
5. Re-thread the insert into the wiper, making sure the depressions on the end of the blade insert latch into the claws.
6. Snap the wiper assemblies back into the wiper arms.
I just did this on my wife's Honda and it took 5 minutes, max. I usually replace the entire blade assembly about every second wiper change. The $$ price is always outrageous from the Honda/Acura stealer, much much better from the discounters.
There should be more complete instructions in the Official Shop Manual, that thick tome that's essential if you ever need make an emergency repair on a deserted road 2 hours outside of Moab, Utah before the wolves find you.

The wipers on the TSX are nice and easy to remove/install. The instructions above pretty much sum it up. I just replaced my passenger side wiper blade with Bosch Microedge Excel wipers. I've always had good luck with them on every car I've had. Now finding the 26" size for the driver's side has been tricky here in Toronto. And for some reason, Bosch only makes the Microedge wiper in 26" size. I finally tracked it down to a Nissan dealership since the Maxima also uses 26" wipers.
