It's there on the lever that has the headlight switch (left lever). It is the small "ring" switch that wraps around it and moves independently from the headlight switch. It is kinda similar to the intermittent wiper timer that is on the wiper (right) lever.

Also, our cars do not have a switch for "automatic turnoff" of the headlights. The headlights automatically turn off after 30 sec after the car is shut off. I think the switch you are describing is in fact the fog light switch.

the inner (skinny) switch on the lever that is closest to the steering wheel is the foglight switch

What part of "our cars don't have a switch for automatic shutoff" didn't you understand? That switch is for the fog lights.

Also, your posts are SO unclear. A few edits:

dat -> that
wat -> what

Turn on the car, turn on the headlights you normally would. In your dash you'll see the little icon showing your lights are on. Then turn the "off/on" ring switch (closest to steering wheel) on the stalk, that's the one for the fog lights. You think it's the one for an auto on/off feature which is incorrect. You must be misreading the manual. You will see another green icon come on which is the signal to show the fog lights are on.

If it doesn't work then maybe your fog lights are blown or you have a short. Really not that complicated, have someone else try it if you can't get it to work.
